The Policy

What This Site Collects: Almost Nothing

• No cookies. No analytics. No trackers. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising or tracking scripts of any kind. We do not know who you are, and we have built the site so we cannot find out.
• Fonts. Pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google's servers under Google's policies.
• The camera map. One page, ALPR 101, embeds the volunteer-built DeFlock camera map. When you view that section, your browser loads the map from deflock.org under DeFlock's own practices. It is the only embedded third-party content on this site, it is disclosed right beneath the map, and no other page loads anything from anyone but us and Google Fonts.
• External links. Links to sources, official government pages, and allied projects (such as DeFlock and Finding Flock) take you to sites we do not control, with their own privacy practices.
• The volunteer form. The form on Join is not yet connected to a backend; submitting it currently sends nothing anywhere. When it goes live: we will store only what you submit, use it only to contact you about the project, never sell or share it, and delete it on request.
• Hosting. Like every website, this one is served by a hosting provider that processes network requests to deliver pages. We add nothing on top.
